History
Launched in 1989 as the successor to the legendary R107, the Mercedes SL R129 marked a major technological turning point by introducing cutting-edge innovations.
Designed by the iconic Bruno Sacco, its sleek and timeless lines have stood the test of time, offering prestigious engines ranging from the noble 6-cylinder to the V12. Production ended in 2001.
Our model is a third-phase SL 280 powered by the brand new M112 engine with 3 valves per cylinder. This V6 replaces the old inline 6. It offers greater flexibility and is more efficient. This model is equipped with the very rare 5-speed manual gearbox, of which only 850 were produced.
