🇨🇵 This Datsun 240Z was delivered new to Marseille in 1972 by Richards, the brand's French importer.
Its current owner has owned it for almost 10 years.
🇪🇺 European versions of the 240Z are rare and sought-after because they are distinguished by their 5-speed gearbox, unlike American models equipped only with a 4-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
⚙️ Between 2018 and 2022, this car underwent a partial restoration by Valinho Auto Racing, a recognised specialist in Z models, at a cost of over €20,000. A non-exhaustive list of the work carried out is available below.

General state
🏎️ The bodywork and paintwork are in very good condition. The paintwork is recent and of high quality. The car has been very well prepared and the paintwork particularly well applied.
There are three slight defects visible in the gallery.
🧽 The interior is in very good condition, from the dashboard, through the roof lining to the seats. All the gauges and on-board instrumentation are functional.
🛠️ During its restoration (over €20,000), the car benefited from :
Putting the body on a spindle,
Structural repairs (floor and rocker panels),
Full bodywork paintwork,
Refurbishment of the braking system,

As a result, the car is sound and its 150-horsepower in-line 6-cylinder engine runs perfectly. The engine and gearbox are strictly original. It starts up without any noise or abnormal smoke, covers all distances and is particularly pleasant to drive.
