This Peugeot 404 cabriolet belongs to a seasoned collector of vintage Peugeots. He bought it in 2016. It has benefited from a complete restoration, with the chassis stripped bare.

Excellent condition throughout.
External state
The car's bodywork is very attractive overall. The floorboards were replaced during the restoration. The stainless steel wheel trims are in excellent condition. The windows and headlights are in very good condition. Everything was dismantled during the restoration, and the paintwork was carried out to the highest standards.
Interior state
The interior has been completely restored. All the on-board equipment is functional.
Mechanical state
The engine and gearbox work very well. The top engine was rebuilt in 2016. The running gear is in very good condition. The 404s with carburettors are more reliable, as on the fuel-injected 404s, the lack of an ignition altimeter often caused the ignition to go out of adjustment depending on where the car was travelling.
