History
This Pontiac Firebird ONE is a unique prototype developed by Harry Bradley (GM's star designer at the time) and built by Dave Crook (a renowned engineer hired by GM for this project) in the late 1970s.
Completely unique and made-to-measure, this Pontiac was intended to be the Firebird's vision of the future in the year 2000. The design is completely specific to this prototype, with a very low body line and an imposing rear end that evokes power and energy. The front end is a particularly complex aerodynamic styling study, while the interior is intended to be at the cutting edge of technology and comfort.
Conditions
Painted red with a superb 'tan' interior, the car is powered by a GM 350Ci V8 and is fitted with an automatic gearbox. Everything about this model is specific and unique, GM having spent a fortune to make it road-legal and usable. The car was driven in the USA at the time and is still used regularly by its current owner.
Its history is crystal clear and a full file is included with the car. It's important to point out that the original sketch-ups (original drawing boards) are included with the car, as well as an entire file describing GM's development of the car at the time.
This Pontiac ONE is therefore completely usable and has been meticulously maintained by its current owner. Still in its original condition, the car is in very good overall condition. This unique, fully operational concept car is the only one of its kind on the market.
