This Porsche was delivered new in Germany in March 1973. An appraisal in 1996 indicates that the car was bought by its first French owner, who kept it until 2012, when it was bought by a Belgian collector. The current owner, located in the south of France, bought it back in June 2021 from the director of Mauboussin.

Condition :

General: Leaving the factory in its current configuration (matching numbers and colour), this example is in excellent overall condition. Equipped with numerous original options (listed below) and a solid file (appraisals, invoices, photos, certificates, etc.), this 2.4 E Targa is ready to take to the road: it recently benefited from its annual servicing, a refurbishment of the braking system and 4 new tyres.

Exterior: The bodywork is in remarkable condition. The paintwork was completely redone in 2020, in the original Signal Yellow shade. The Targa roof is flawless and completely watertight. The 4 Fuchs 15' wheels are in very good condition. The alignment is completely homogeneous, the chrome is sparkling, and there are no major defects to mention.

Interior: The interior has been refurbished with great attention to detail and quality materials. When we open the doors, we discover a cabin in like-new condition: the Recaro seats, the leather steering wheel, the dashboard... everything is in excellent condition!

Mechanical: The car is in perfect working order. The engine was rebuilt by Porsche in Germany in the 2000s, with invoices to prove it. Since then, a great deal of work has been carried out to ensure that the mechanics are faultless: new fuel tank and exhaust, refurbishment of the injection system and gearbox/synchros, etc. All the mechanics have been rebuilt and made more reliable where necessary (hydraulic chain tensioner, for example). The running gear is excellent, and the car bends with astonishing ease.

Underbody: structurally, the car is very sound and shows no signs of corrosion. In use, the chassis feels rigid and incisive.
