History

The Porsche 911 2.7 S was introduced in 1974 as part of the 911 G series, replacing the 2.4 S. It featured new bellows-type bumpers to comply with US safety standards. This version adopted K-Jetronic fuel injection to save fuel and better cope with rising petrol prices following the oil crisis. Marketed for a short period, it is considered a transitional model prior to the arrival of the 911 Carrera 3.0L.

This 911 is in very good overall condition.

🚘The bodywork is sound and in very good condition. The grey paintwork is smooth and has a lovely sheen. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The headlights and rear lights are flawless. It is fitted with an optional electric sunroof (650) which is watertight and in working order.

Inside, the red ‘Cartier’ imitation leather seats are in excellent condition. The dashboard is in good condition. The floor mats and carpets are in good condition. The instruments are in working order.

⚙️The 2.7-litre flat-6 starts without a hitch and revs freely. The clutch is in very good condition. The tyres will be replaced prior to sale. The 915 gearbox does not rattle when changing gears and is fitted with a short-shift kit. The road holding is very good.
