1958 Porsche 356 A T2 Cabriolet - restored - known history - superb condition - 6-month warranty
This Porsche 356 A T2 Cabriolet - chassis #150623 - was delivered new to the USA in 1958 and arrived in France in July 1998. The current owner has owned it for 22 years and the car is in superb overall condition. This 356 has its original engine and gearbox, and the car is in strictly original condition.
Fully restored in 2014, the car has been painted in its original Meissen Blu hue (bodywork stripped to bare metal and revised to Porsche-standard pewter welds). The upholstery and carpets have also been revised.
The mechanics have also been fully restored, the cylinder head rectified and all the engine satellites overhauled. The electrical system is new. The car has its original chrome wheels and recent tires. The triple-layered alpaca soft top is also new, and all the instruments, including the Blaupunkt radio, are in working order.
The owner gave the car a complete overhaul in November 2023, for sale, including fluid change, adjustment of rocker arms, ignition, spark plugs, brake bleeding, clutch and replacement of the 4 shock absorbers.
The car can be seen in Nantes and is sold with a 6-month mechanical breakdown warranty.
