History
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1949, the Porsche 356 marked the birth of the Porsche legend. This example is one of the few 356 B Super 90 roadsters produced by D’Ieteren in Belgium.
🇫🇷 Built in July 1961, this 356 was delivered new to France by Sonauto. It is the third owner in France; we have a record of the two previous owners (including the second, who owned it from 1980 to 2017).
🇫🇷 The current owner acquired it in 2022 following a complete restoration of the car and significant expenditure.
📄 This example bears chassis number #89221 with engine number #802122 and gearbox number #42637. The car has matching numbers and has been restored to its original colour – Etna Blue – an extremely rare shade. This 356 comes with a comprehensive file containing maintenance invoices, a pre-restoration survey, as well as the Porsche COC and COA certificates attesting to its authenticity and originality.

General state
The car has been fully restored to its original colour scheme: Etna Blue, with a black soft top and black leather and carpets.
External state
The bodywork has been stripped back to bare metal; the paintwork is in superb condition and the alignment is perfect. The running gear, suspension and brakes have also been completely overhauled.
Interior state
The upholstery has been refurbished, the carpets are new, and the soft top and all the fittings are in very good condition.
Mechanical state
The engine block (#802122) and gearbox (#42637) are in very good working order. The engine, gearbox and rear axle were completely overhauled during the restoration. The car handles impeccably.
