History
This 911 was delivered in the United States.
It was originally “Polo Red” – a very elegant dark red.
The current owner has always known it as black. He bought it in 2005 in Coventry, whilst he was living in England. He imported it into France when he returned there in 2007.
📄 The car has a valid French registration, registered in the name of the current owner’s company.

🚘 The bodywork looks good overall. A polish would easily restore its shine whilst blurring out the slight micro-scratches. There are a few small blisters, which the owner has not had repaired as they have not spread over the last 20 years and are stable. On the advice of his specialist, however, he has had the windscreen surround redone. The future owner therefore has two options: a thorough detailing job, leaving it with its lovely patina, or having it completely repainted – perhaps even in its original red.
The interior is in fine condition; the upholstery is well preserved and the brushed aluminium trim adds a nice touch of sportiness. The headlining has a few nicks; perfectionists might have it redone.
Structurally, the chassis appears to be in its original condition and sound; it has not been repainted to show its true state, and there are a few traces of localised rust.
🔧Mechanically:
The mechanics are in good working order. The current owner has undertaken significant restoration work in recent years, including:
=> fitting of a circuit breaker
=> new fuel tank (62 litres)
=> bonnet struts
=> brake calipers, bearings, front and rear shock absorbers
=> late 2020: Engine and gearbox removed for seal replacement. At the same time, the timing belt, clutch kit, engine and gearbox mounts, and rear arm silent blocks were replaced, and the carburettors were overhauled.
=> 2024: replacement of all 4 torsion bars, the steering rack and the front stabiliser bar silent blocks.
The odometer has been converted to kilometres for greater ease of use.
Production date of front and rear tyres: 2017
