History
The Porsche 911 2.2 S is one of the most sought-after versions of the F Series, produced from 1969 to 1971. In this generation, the S variant was fitted with a 2,195 cm³ flat-six engine, tuned to 180 ch thanks to a twin-barrel Weber carburettor and a lightweight crankshaft. The Targa body, with its distinctive stainless-steel roll bar and soft top, offers a unique driving experience, halfway between a coupé and a convertible. Rare and highly sought-after, the 911 2.2 S Targa embodies the classic Porsche in its purest form.
This example was delivered in metallic blue with black leather and houndstooth fabric upholstery, a finish characteristic of the S versions of that era. It comes with a comprehensive service history file, including invoices for parts and restoration work carried out between 2016 and 2020 by recognised specialists.

General state
This 911 2.2 S Targa is in excellent overall condition.
The bodywork is in near-new condition. It has recently undergone a complete restoration. The blue paintwork has been applied skilfully and is smooth and even. The panels are well aligned. The Fuchs alloy wheels are also in excellent condition. As for the roof, the black soft top is in excellent condition. It has also been restored. The chrome trim is gleaming.
Inside the cabin, the black leather upholstery with houndstooth fabric inserts is as good as new. The black dashboard is in very fine condition. The original Porsche steering wheel is in good condition. The instruments are in working order.
The 2.2-litre flat-six engine has been fully restored, as has the gearbox. The invoices are available in the dedicated file. The car has covered just 1,000 kilometres since then.
