History
Launched in 1984 as the successor to the SC, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 established itself as the final evolution of the original 911 G-series line-up. It featured a new 3.2-litre engine producing 231 horsepower, equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection, which significantly improved reliability and fuel economy. The first 3.2 models were fitted with the old Type 915 gearbox, renowned for being demanding to use, before this was replaced by the G50 gearbox in 1986, a much more modern and user-friendly unit. Our example is fitted with a G50 gearbox, the most sought-after version.
This 911 was originally delivered new to Marseille, France. Its mileage is traceable thanks to the service history book and numerous Histovec records.

This example is in very good overall condition.
The bodywork is well preserved. The paintwork was repainted under a previous owner. The alignment and fit are correct. We note a few minor signs of wear, which do not detract from the overall attractive appearance of this 911. The Fuch alloy wheels are in good condition, as are the headlight lenses.
Inside the cabin, the black seats are in good condition. The dashboard shows no defects. The headlining is taut. The black leather steering wheel is very well preserved. The instruments are in working order.
The 3.2-litre flat-six starts easily and revs well. Gear changes are smooth and pleasant. Road holding is good. The rear tyres are virtually new. The front tyres date from 2017. The owner states that the engine’s oil seal is satisfactory. The car is serviced by a Porsche specialist in the Avignon area.
