History
Launched in 1984, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 marked the return of the "Carrera" name and represented the technical culmination of the classic 911 line (known as the "G series"). Its convertible variant, introduced just one year earlier on the SC, became a mainstay of the range, offering a perfectly integrated soft top for the first time.
Equipped with an 80% redesigned flat-six engine and Bosch Motronic electronic management, it saved the 911 from being replaced by the 928.
This example was delivered new to the United States in 1984. The current owner purchased it in 2023. The car has been brought up to European standards, with new headlights and bumpers and a catalytic converter installed.

This 911 is in very good overall condition. The bodywork is in very good condition. The alignment and adjustments are good. The car was repainted in 2023 in its original "Schieferblau Metallic" colour. It is well stretched and offers beautiful depth. The rims are very well preserved. The headlight lenses show no particular defects. The soft top is functional. Inside, the blue leather seats, which were refurbished in 2023, are in very good condition. The dashboard shows no defects. The black steering wheel is in good condition.
The 3.2 flat-6 engine starts normally and revs well. The 5-speed 915 manual gearbox shifts smoothly and pleasantly. The road handling is very good.
