History
First appearing at the end of the ‘G-body’ era, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2, fitted with the Getrag G50 gearbox, represents the technical pinnacle of the model range prior to the arrival of the 964.
This US-spec model has stood the test of time, retaining its distinctive styling features, such as its characteristic bumper ends, whilst offering mechanical robustness that has become legendary. Its Targa configuration, with its iconic roll bar, allows one to enjoy the sound of the Flat-6 in the open air, a pleasure enhanced by the precise and modern handling of its transmission, introduced in 1987.
This example was delivered new in the United States on 30 June 1987 to the Porsche Ron Fondren dealership in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The car was imported to Germany in 2018. This 911 arrived in France in 2022. The current owner purchased it in 2022. We have its service history dating back to 1987 and its service booklet, stamped up to 2000.
