The Porsche 912 SWB (Short Wheelbase) was launched in 1965 as a more affordable alternative to the new 911, featuring the same bodywork but with the 4-cylinder engine from the 356 SC.Produced with this short wheelbase until 1968, it offered a more balanced weight distribution and remarkable agility thanks to its lighter engine than the Flat-6. It was an immediate commercial success, even outselling the 911 in its early days, before its chassis was lengthened in 1969 to improve stability.

This car is in excellent condition. The bodywork is sound and in very good condition. The yellow paintwork is smooth and has a beautiful depth. The headlights and chrome trim are in very good condition. The rims are in their original condition and show very slight signs of wear.
Inside, the black leather seats are new. The dashboard is flawless. The wooden steering wheel is in excellent condition. The headliner is taut. The instruments are functional. The flat-4 engine starts smoothly and revs well. The clutch is in very good condition. The 5-speed manual gearbox is precise and pleasant to use. The car handles very well on the road.
