This Renault Mégane II RS R26 R, first registered in France in 2009, is a rare example among the 450 produced worldwide, of which only 126 were delivered in France. It is number 099/126. The current owner acquired it in 2016 and has maintained it with great care, as evidenced by the extensive file of invoices.

This copy is in very good condition.
External state
The bodywork and paintwork are in extremely good condition. The exposed carbon bonnet and original R26.R flocking are in excellent condition. Two sets of wheels will be included for sale: one (original black rims) fitted with Toyo Proxes semi-slicks for track use and the other (orange 'Team Dynamics Pro Race' rims) fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport for road use.
Interior state
The interior is true to its track car DNA, with original Sabelt bucket seats and upholstery in perfect condition. The presence of 6-point harnesses and a roll bar accentuates its sporty character. Despite its radical stance, it comes with a number of practical options: automatic air conditioning and folding mirrors.
Mechanical state
The original R26.R develops 230 bhp. It was reprogrammed in 2015 by BR Performance to reach 261 bhp, as attested by a dyno run. This stage 1 reprogramming was accompanied by the installation of higher-performance 330 mm PFC brake discs. The original stainless steel exhaust offers a magnificent sound. In 2021, the car benefited from the replacement of the timing system, water pump and flywheel, as well as the installation of a reinforced SACHS clutch and complete geometry. The engine and gearbox are in perfect working order. The car is perfectly sound, offering remarkable performance and sound roadholding worthy of the best sports cars.
