History
TVR is a small British manufacturer based in Blackpool. Its Griffith, launched in the early 1990s, combines an extremely lightweight fibreglass body with a large Rover-sourced V8 engine. With no ABS or power steering, it is designed for pure driving thrills. The 500 version features the engine upgraded to 5 litres, delivering even more exhilarating performance.
This example is a left-hand drive, of which it is estimated that only around fifty were produced.
The car was first registered in 1994. It arrived in France in 2007 from Germany. Its current owner has owned it for around ten years. It has been looked after by several specialists in British cars, notably Côte Fleurie Automobiles in Trouville-sur-Mer and Normandy Classics in Granville.

This TVR Griffith 500 is in good overall condition.
🚘This car has a uniform, glossy blue finish, as shown in the photos. There are some imperfections around the fibreglass bodywork, mainly on the front end. The alloy wheels are in good condition. The black soft top is in good condition.
The leather seats are navy blue, as is the top of the dashboard. The dashboard is wood-panelled and shows slight cracking. The carpets are in good condition.
⚙️The Rover V8 has a clean engine bay with silicone hoses. The car has undergone regular mechanical servicing in recent years: the ignition, alternator, silent blocks and exhaust system have all been overhauled by specialists. The road holding is very good.
