History
The TVR Tuscan V8 was born in the late 1960s, following in the footsteps of the Griffith by combining a lightweight tubular chassis with a powerful 4.7-litre Ford V8 engine. Only 73 V8 models were produced between 1967 and 1971, of which only 24 were short wheelbase models.
This TVR Tuscan SWB is one of the 24 short chassis models produced. It underwent restoration in 1990, involving more than 2,000 hours of work, including extensive technical preparation. It has competed in races, all of which are well documented. Due to its exclusive history as a racing car, it is not registered. Its technical passport needs to be updated.

This car is equipped with a bolted roll cage, a fire extinguisher and a circuit breaker. The various indicators and gauges are functional. The V8 underwent a complete restoration in 2019, with serious preparation. Running-in and tuning have been carried out. The 5-speed manual gearbox is pleasant to use. The road handling is excellent.
The fuel supply is optimised by four Weber 48 twin-barrel carburettors instead of the original single Holley 750 carburettor. The car is sold with a second set of wheels and a set of parts (exhaust, running gear, etc.).
