History
This Alfa Romeo was bought new by its first owner in November 1972 in France. The second owner bought the car in February 1990 and sold it to the third and current owner in May 1993. The latter then undertook a complete restoration (documentation available), the details of which can be seen below. Thirty-five years on, the car is still in the hands of the same meticulous owner and remains in superb overall condition.

General state
General: The car has a fully documented history and is in excellent overall condition. It has undergone a high-quality restoration (bodywork, running gear, brakes, wiring harness, engine, gearbox, etc.) and has been fitted with a high-quality ‘fast-road’ specification.
Bodywork: The bodywork is in very good overall condition. The car has undergone a complete restoration by a renowned local bodywork specialist. The restoration is almost thirty years old and the condition remains excellent. The car was rotated on a turntable before being repainted and reassembled; there is therefore no sign of corrosion. The paintwork is smooth and of high quality.
Mechanics: The car’s mechanical components are in excellent condition. The Weber carburettors are meticulously tuned: the car holds its idle and revs up nicely with a beautiful sound. The air box has been replaced by four air intakes. The gears change smoothly, and all the gearbox synchros are fully functional. The last service was carried out in December 2025 and included an engine oil change as well as the refurbishment of the radiator and starter motor. The braking system has also been overhauled. It features Brembo 2-piston aluminium calipers, drilled discs (those from the 2000 GTV at the front) and a full set of aviation-grade hoses. The rear caliper brackets are made of solid-machined titanium.
Interior: The interior has been slightly modified to lighten the car. The modification has been carried out with taste. The car still has its original dashboard, but the carpets and rear bench seat have been removed. The car is fitted with two OMP bucket seats and Willans four-point harnesses. The equipment also includes an OMP Alcantara steering wheel, a 2kg fire extinguisher, a co-driver’s footrest and a hydraulic handbrake. The battery is located on the rear right floor.
Underbody: The underbody is sound. The spare wheel well and fuel tank are free from corrosion. Detailed photos available.
