History
The car left the Arese factory on 31 October 1958 and was sold a month later in New York. The first historical information in the file dates back to 1971, when the car was owned by a certain Lawrence Copeland in Illinois. In October 1990, he sold the car to a collector who kept it for 3 years. In 1993, the car was bought by an alfist in Oregon. He kept the car for around thirty years before selling it to the current owner in the south of France. We have the old Titles and the contacts of the previous owners. The current owner picked up the car himself in the USA, taking the opportunity to organise a roadtrip lasting a few weeks before loading the car for import into France.

🔧Mechanics: The car is presented in excellent mechanical condition. It was recently fitted with a 2000 engine perfectly prepared by Spruell Motorsport in 2015 (the car is sold with its complete 1958 1300 engine (AR1315). This Sprint represents the spirit of the gentleman driver in every way (powerful and comfortable, elegant and racy). The engine is furious, even at high revs, and acceleration is straightforward, with no smoke and a superb sound! The two weber 40DCOE carburettors have been recently tuned. The 5-speed gearbox works perfectly, and the synchros are in perfect condition. The car is eligible for historic races (Monte Carlo, Tour Auto, etc.)
Maintenance: A complete binder of documents and invoices will be given with the car. The car was last serviced in April 2025: (all fluids changed, locks changed, exhaust system aligned, etc.).
Body: As can be seen from the photos of the underbody on our website, the car has benefited from a high-quality restoration. The underbody is sound, with no traces of corrosion or previous accidents. The floorboards are faithful to the original and the engine, gearbox and axle assembly are dry. The paintwork, redone in 2004, has a nice patina. A few chips are visible in the gallery. Chrome bumpers and wheel trims are supplied.
Interior: The black leatherette interior is as it was when it left the factory. The grey carpets are in perfect condition. The dashboard, painted in body colour, has no notable defects. Two blue belts have been added. The door panels and chrome are in perfect condition.
