This Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce “Alleggrita” is one of just 600 examples produced by the manufacturer between 1956 and 1958. A racing car with highly specialised specifications, this Alfa Romeo features aluminium doors and Plexiglas windows. Our example – a French-spec model – is in superb condition and comes with a full service history.

Delivered new in Paris on 5 December 1956, the car was registered 254 GR 75. It changed hands for the first time in 1962 and ended up in the Var region, where it took part in numerous vintage rallies and races.
Purchased in 1968 by the third owner, the car moved to Isère and continued to compete in local races. The car was found in south-west France in 2007 and the current owner purchased it in 2022.

This Sprint Veloce is in superb overall condition and is highly authentic. It retains all its original fittings, still features its original colour scheme, and has a Sprint Veloce-specification engine.
Repainted over 15 years ago, the car is sound and consistent in finish. The underbody is sound and free from distortion. A full expert report is available.
Carefully maintained, the car is up to date and will require no further expenditure from its future owner. A major service has, in fact, been carried out by a specialist in this model prior to sale.
Finally, it is important to note that the car is sold with a substantial collection of parts, including:
