Austin Princess Vanden Plas 1966 / Manual

History: Vanden Plas, an artisanal company specialized in creating exclusive versions of large luxury sedans, bodied this Austin Princess Limousine. This specimen is one of the 200 to roll out of the factory in 1966. 30 years later, it was imported to France, where it would have 6 different owners.

Condition:
Overall: This Austin is in very good condition. It was fully restored a few years ago.

Exterior: The car's bodywork presents well. However, we notice some minor dents and corrosion marks that will be addressed before sale (complete repaint). The two-tone paint is in good condition and boasts a beautiful shine. The hubcaps are in very good condition, as are the chrome accents and headlight optics.

The interior displays excellent condition. In the front, we find a bench seat in black vinyl/leather, which is in impeccable condition. While in the back, there is a bench seat and jump seats in brown vinyl/leather. In total, the car can accommodate 6 people, a true limousine! The carpets and wood trims are also in very good condition. All dashboard instrumentation is functional.
It is worth noting that the registration document indicates 6 seating positions!

Mechanical: The mechanics of this car underwent a complete restoration. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, without emitting excessive smoke from the exhaust. The three-speed transmission operates normally. It should be noted that the first gear is not synchronized. The braking system has also been revised, ensuring its proper operation. The car exhibits stable and comfortable road behavior.

Undercarriage: The undercarriage of the car is sound and free from corrosion. Photos are available upon request.
