History
The BMW Z4 succeeds the legendary Z3 and represents the culmination of Bavarian sporting philosophy in the world of roadsters. Launched in 2002, the first-generation Z4 embodies the very essence of BMW: a perfect balance between the power of a 6-cylinder engine and the pleasure of open-top driving. In 2003, the year of this particular example, the model was already recognised as one of the finest roadsters on the market, prized by enthusiasts for its timeless design and well-balanced performance.
This particular car was purchased three years ago from World of Car, the renowned dealership in Bordeaux. Since its arrival, it has been maintained to an exemplary standard, kept under a cover to protect it from the elements. The current owner has taken great care to ensure regular maintenance, as evidenced by the recent overhaul of the soft-top mechanism and the replacement of the engine sump seal. Carefully preserved, this Z4 retains all the appeal of a classic German sports car, ready to deliver the joy of open-top driving.

🚘 Bodywork
This example is in very good overall condition, having been regularly stored under a cover. The light grey exterior colour, combined with the black interior, has aged well. There are only minor surface scratches caused by wear and tear. The leather upholstery remains in excellent condition with no tears whatsoever, a sign of a careful owner. The soft-top mechanism has recently been serviced and works perfectly, offering all the pleasure of open-top driving.
⚙️ Mechanics
The 3.0-litre 6-cylinder engine produces 240 chevaux and has 66,300 kilometres on the clock. The engine sump gasket was recently replaced, at a cost of 700 euros. Although the service history book is missing, the car has been regularly and carefully maintained.
🛞 Interior and fittings
The black leather interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery remains spotless, and the dashboard is in good condition. Only the soft top requires a preventative oil top-up for the mechanism – a minor job that will extend its lifespan. Unfortunately, no other invoices are available, but this car has clearly been treated with respect and maintained in consistently good condition.
