History: This Peugeot 404 Saloon left the factory on 1st July 1963. Its first owner kept it until 2004, and the third and current owner acquired it through us in 2021. The car is accompanied by a history file.

General: This example is in good overall condition.

Exterior: The bodywork is in very good condition, with no major defects. It sports an elegant grey/beige paintwork, an original shade that was applied during the restoration to respect its authenticity. The chrome and exterior accessories are also in excellent condition, underlining the timeless character of this model.

Interior: The interior, in its white and blue colour combination, is in excellent condition. The upholstery, trimmings and carpets are impeccably finished, in keeping with the period model. All the interior equipment, from the dials to the ventilation system, works perfectly.

Powertrain: Under the bonnet, the 76 bhp 1.6L 4-cylinder engine delivers reliable performance typical of Grand Touring saloons of its era. The 4-speed manual gearbox is smooth and precise, making for a pleasant, controlled drive. Its roadholding is remarkably sound, enhanced by excellent suspension and a well-balanced chassis.
