History

This Porsche 356 A T2 Coupé was delivered new to the USA in 1959. Arriving in France in 2019, the car is in superb overall condition.

Serial number : 108678

The car has been beautifully restored between 2020 and 2022:

  • bodywork and paintwork completely redone in a "rat's rod" style,
  • complete restoration of the engine and gearbox,
  • overhaul of the running gear,
  • replacement of the braking system with a set of front and rear discs,
  • new carpet and upholstery with Speedster-style seats.

With the exception of the meters and instruments, the entire passenger compartment was replaced. The Speedster-type bucket seat upholstery is in new condition, as are the carpet and headlining. The aluminium and wood steering wheel is a very nice touch.

The engine, chassis and running gear have all been tuned. The customisation carried out is atypical, exclusive and rare on the market.
