History
Unveiled in 1997, the 911 Type 996 marked the transition to water-cooling. The restyled 996.2 from 2001 was fitted with the 3.6-litre flat-six engine. The Carrera 4S, which combines the Turbo’s wider bodywork and red brake callipers with the all-wheel drive of the Carrera 4, remains one of the most sought-after versions of this generation.
This particular car was delivered new in Germany on 13 November 2002 by the Porsche Zentrum in Limburg-Diez. It was subsequently owned by owners in Italy and then in France. The service history book lists five previous owners. The car arrived in France in 2012, and the current owner purchased it in December 2019. Its servicing has been carried out by Porsche specialists, including Flatsix in Le Mans since 2020.

This Porsche 911 996.2 Carrera 4S is in very good condition.
🚘The bodywork is in excellent condition. The midnight blue metallic paintwork is gleaming. The 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels are flawless. A full polish with ceramic coating and a treatment of the leather interior were carried out in March 2019.
The interior is also in good condition. The beige leather seats look good. The beige carpets are also in good condition. All the on-board equipment is in working order.
⚙️In June 2017, the engine underwent a major service at Vodiff (Entzheim, 67): removal of the powertrain, replacement of the intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) using the repair kit, the crankshaft oil seal and the gearbox mount, as well as a full service. This work addresses the known weakness of M96 engines of this generation. The Tiptronic S automatic gearbox was serviced at the same time. The vehicle passed its roadworthiness test in December 2025.

Passionate about cars from a very young age, Valentin grew up in this world thanks to his father and grandfather. As soon as he got his license, he decided to turn his passion into something concrete by importing a BMW Z3 2.0 Roadster purchased at auction in Japan—an experience that taught him the ropes of importing, registration, and sales. Drawn by the idea of combining automotive pleasure and profit, he continued with iconic models such as the BMW M3 E46 and an Alpina C1 2.3 from 1984. In November 2021, he joined CarJager to structure this activity and support the company's growth, and he is proud of how far the firm has come.
