History
The Porsche 944 S2 represents the culmination of the 944 range. Launched in 1989, it was fitted with a 3.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 211 chevaux, the most powerful production four-cylinder engine of its time. In the Cabriolet version, it combines the pleasure of open-top driving with the handling qualities of front-engined Porsches.
This particular car was first registered on 14 March 1991. It is now registered as a classic car, a status obtained in 2022 by the current owner.

This example is in good condition for its age.
The black bodywork is in good condition. The full photo gallery available on our website provides a more detailed view of its condition. Some of the wheel rims show slight scuff marks. The headlights are clear. The black soft top was repaired in 2024: a roll bar arm was replaced following a break, with the stitching redone by an upholsterer (invoice available).
The interior is upholstered in light-coloured leather. The front seats show some signs of wear on the sides. The dashboard shows no cracks visible in the photos. The centre console houses the gear lever and the original car radio.
The 3.0-litre engine produces 211 chevaux. It has a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car has been well maintained over the years: the timing belt was replaced in 2011, the tyres were replaced in 2013, regular MOTs were carried out until 2015, and oil changes and suspension checks were carried out in 2021. The soft top was refurbished in 2024 by a specialist upholsterer.
Services on demand

Passionate about cars from a very young age, Valentin grew up in this world thanks to his father and grandfather. As soon as he got his license, he decided to turn his passion into something concrete by importing a BMW Z3 2.0 Roadster purchased at auction in Japan—an experience that taught him the ropes of importing, registration, and sales. Drawn by the idea of combining automotive pleasure and profit, he continued with iconic models such as the BMW M3 E46 and an Alpina C1 2.3 from 1984. In November 2021, he joined CarJager to structure this activity and support the company's growth, and he is proud of how far the firm has come.
