History

Delivered new from the Annecy dealership (Garage du Mont Blanc) in 2004.

The car has had only four owners, based in Savoie, Isère, Drôme and Bouches-du-Rhône.

Like many 986 S models, it suffered from an IMS issue that led to engine failure. Porsche Grenoble carried out a standard engine replacement on 21 June 2010.

The penultimate owner was a lover of fine cars and took particular care of it. The current owner has owned the car for four years. It is now being offered for sale as it is no longer suitable for family use.

General state

The bodywork has a beautiful finish with a glossy paintwork. The alloy wheels have been refurbished. The exhaust tailpipe is in excellent condition and the Boxster S logo is brand new.
The soft-top’s electric system works perfectly.

The car starts at the first turn of the key.

When parked outdoors, it is protected by a fitted padded cover. The overall appearance is impressive at first glance.

There is a small dent on the front bumper (lower section). Apart from this, the overall condition is very satisfactory.
The interior is in very good condition despite the car being 22 years old. The leather seats show a slight patina, with no cracks, and have always been well maintained.

The cabin is clean overall: dashboard, radio, doors, etc.
There is a slight crack on the handbrake cover.

The car does not have a sat-nav.

Mechanically, the engine runs perfectly, with no unusual noise or smoke from the exhaust.
On the road, the Flat 6 stands out for its smoothness and provides a real driving pleasure, true to the model’s original spirit.
