History
The Triumph TR3B was produced in 1962 in a limited edition (2,804 units) and was the latest evolution of the TR3. It is distinguished by its 2.1-litre engine and fully synchronised gearbox, taken directly from the TR4, offering greater power and flexibility. Rare and sought-after, it is a true collector's roadster.
This example was delivered new in 1962 and the current owner purchased it in 2018.
🏁 This model is prepared for historic rallying: the camel leather seats are fitted with harnesses, and sensors to monitor engine behaviour in real time are present.
📄 A survey was carried out on the car in March 2025. It detailed the car's overall condition and described it as very good.

🚘 The exterior of the car presents a very nice condition, the paint, in its original shade, is well stretched and shows a very nice shine. During the restoration, the bodywork was well prepared for painting. There are some minor defects, which can be seen in the "imperfections" section of the photos.
The wheels, headlights, windows, gaskets, chrome and various body fittings are in very good condition.
The car is fitted with a soft top, side screens and tonneau cover, all in excellent condition.
The interior is in perfect condition, with no defects to be found. It has been completely and carefully refurbished, with the dashboard, seats, carpets, upholstery and other items in excellent condition. The car is fitted with an excellent Nardi steering wheel with wooden rim. Note that the original mileage counter was replaced in 2020 by an odometer
odometer. When it was replaced, the odometer totalled 60,396 miles, or approximately
100.000 km.
⚙️ The engine starts without noise or abnormal smoke, and runs remarkably well. Cooling has been optimised with the installation of an electric fan that starts automatically
fan. The synchronised gearbox also works wonderfully well, with perfectly smooth gear changes. The underpinnings are sound.

After spending weekends in a camper van at automotive events with his grandparents and Sunday mornings watching Automoto with his father, Johan decided to turn his passion into a career. He began as an automotive technician before training in sales to join the CarJager universe. Probably born in the wrong era, he dreams as much of the British elegance of a Jaguar E-Type as of the emotion of a 1960s Ferrari. Today, he assists both sellers and buyers in bringing their projects to life, working with cars from the 1950s to the present day.
