Triumph Tr6 Pi Pi 1970 / Manual

This TR6 is in very good condition. In 2024, significant mechanical costs were incurred to ensure its smooth running and reliability.

The bodywork of this TR6 PI looks great, with a midnight blue hue that is an interesting alternative to the equally elegant British Racing Green. There are a few discreet imperfections visible in our photo file. The chrome and various trim elements are in fairly good condition. The rims have a few pits, but still look good. The soft top is in good condition and its deployment mechanism works well. There's also a luggage rack, which comes in handy if you're going on holiday with a full load!

The interior is very well preserved. The upholstery is in excellent condition. The dashboard and the top of the door panels, both in wood, are also in very good condition. Some parts of the interior were restored some fifteen years ago. The wooden Moto Lita steering wheel adds an extra touch of elegance.

The powertrain underwent major work in 2024, at a cost of €6,600, to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible. Roadholding is very pleasant. The TR6 has the advantage of being powered by an in-line 6-cylinder engine, which is much more noble than other competing British roadsters such as the TR3, MGA or MGB. Our TR6 is also a fuel-injected version, which is more reliable and more powerful than the carburettor versions. The Lucas injection is still in place and working well. The injectors had been removed and cleaned at a previous service. Last but not least, this model is equipped with an overdrive, which is appreciated on long journeys
