This Volkswagen Golf 2 GTI 16S was delivered new to Lille in November 1986. It is one of the rare and highly sought-after first series (16S 138hp) with small quarter panels and 3 doors.
They have become impossible to find on the market and this one is in exceptional condition!
This Golf has only 126,000 km and is in superb original condition. Its history is well known and the car has never left France. It has all its original stickers, has not been involved in any accidents and has a full set of invoices dating back to 1986. Only the paintwork has been redone by a specialist coachbuilder.
This 16S has a rare two-tone red and black chequered interior, which is much sought-after, and all the fittings are in good condition. The body is sound and corrosion-free, and the underpinnings are also sound and show no signs of impact. The car has been well maintained mechanically and has just been serviced for sale. The CT has also been passed.
It is important to note that this Golf 2 GTI will be sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty.
