The current owner is a doctor who collects a few classic cars. He purchased this Volvo through us in 2022. He has carried out extensive work to improve its overall condition. He is now selling it to refresh his collection.
This P1800E was originally delivered new in America. Before being imported into France in August 2016 by the previous owner, it was in Ohio according to the documents we have.

General state
The bodywork is finished in a relatively rare period colour. The paintwork was repainted under a previous owner. There are a few localised imperfections, which do not detract from the elegance of this P1800. The door seals are new.
The interior is period-correct and, as far as we can tell, has never been restored. The seats have a lovely patina. The dashboard shows a few cracks, which is inevitable given its age. Nevertheless, the interior as a whole still looks very good
Mechanically, this is a car in very good working order and made more reliable thanks to the extensive work carried out by the current owner (change of all fluids, filters, fuel pump, suspension bushings, shock absorbers, hoses, water pump, ignition, exhaust, tyres, brakes, etc.). The overdrive works very well.
