History:
Introduced in 1961, the Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint represents a significant evolution of the 2000 models, with its 2,584 cc inline six-cylinder engine producing 145 hp. This coupe is equipped with three twin-barrel carburetors and offers sporty performance with a top speed approaching 200 km/h.

This particular example was sold new in Sweden and imported to France in 2016. It is in the hands of its second owner. The current owner has a complete file of invoices certifying its mileage.

Condition:
Overall: This 2600 Sprint is 100% original and has never been restored. The car is exceptionally well-preserved in terms of aesthetics and is mechanically very sound. It’s extremely rare to find an Alfa in such original condition.

Exterior: The vehicle is in very good presentation condition. The original paint is well-preserved, enhancing its charm. Only the lower rear valance has been repainted. The chrome elements are in excellent condition, and the chassis is free from corrosion. The bodywork shows a few small dings, mainly on the left rear fender, but these imperfections do not detract from the overall appearance of the coupe.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The upholstery, entirely original, has developed a beautiful patina, adding character to the cabin. The dashboard is complete and well-preserved, with all gauges and warning lights functioning perfectly. A radio has been installed on the dashboard.

Mechanics: Mechanically, the vehicle is in excellent condition and has been maintained by an Alfa Romeo specialist. The engine starts easily, whether cold or warm, and revs smoothly. Gear changes are smooth with no grinding. The car is stable in corners and responds perfectly to the driver’s input.
