History

This rare Lotus Esprit Turbo Essex "Commemorative Edition" was delivered new in September 1981 in Austria. It is one of only 11 LHDs out of 41 produced worldwide.

It is presented in original condition with its Monaco Blue paintwork and red leather interior, the car is in superb overall condition with its period equipment. Completely restored in 2017 in Austria (over 450 photos available on a USB stick) and made even more reliable by a model specialist in 2022 for over €25,000 (invoices available), this Lotus has been regularly used by its owner ever since.

General state

There must be only 6 or 7 Essexes left in LHD and this one is in very good overall condition. Its history is known from 1981 - including the first registration in Austria - the original service book is stamped and the original owner's manual is present.

It is important to point out that the car has its Lotus certificate of authenticity, that a CT will be carried out for the sale and that the car will benefit from a 12-month mechanical breakdown warranty.
