History
Launched in 2001 to address criticism of the first generation, the Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Phase 2 marked a major step towards technological maturity. It abandoned the famous ‘fried egg’ headlights in favour of the Turbo’s almond-shaped units, whilst benefiting from a stiffer chassis and a significantly improved interior finish.
Under the bonnet, its flat-six engine increased in capacity from 3.4 to 3.6 litres, boosting power to 320 hp and delivering more generous torque thanks to the Variocam Plus system. Its permanent all-wheel drive ensures exemplary traction and enhanced safety, making it the ultimate versatile sports car, capable of tackling all weather conditions.
🇱🇺This 996 was delivered new on 3 October 2001 at the Porsche Centre in Luxembourg.
🇫🇷It arrived in France in 2015. Its current owner purchased it in 2023.
