History
Launched at the end of 2001, the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 3.6 convertible marked the arrival of Phase 2, addressing aesthetic criticisms with redesigned headlights from the Turbo and a stiffened chassis.
It introduced the new 3.6-litre flat-6 engine, which increased power to 320 hp and adopted the VarioCam Plus variable valve timing system for greater flexibility. This model stands out for its electric soft top, now equipped with a heated glass rear window, replacing the fragile plastic of previous versions.
This example was delivered new to the Porsche dealership in Kassel, Germany. The car arrived in France in 2008. The current owner purchased it in June 2023.
