History
Launched in late 2001, the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 3.6 Cabriolet marked the arrival of Phase 2, addressing aesthetic criticisms with redesigned headlights borrowed from the Turbo and a stiffer chassis.
It introduced the new 3.6-litre Flat-6 engine, which boosted power to 320 hp and adopted the VarioCam Plus variable valve timing system for greater flexibility. This model stands out for its electric soft top, now fitted with a heated glass rear window, replacing the fragile plastic of previous versions.
This particular car was delivered new to the Porsche dealership in Kassel, Germany. It arrived in France in 2008. The current owner purchased it in June 2023.
