This BMW was delivered new to its first owner on 24 February 1936 in Chemnitz (Germany). Its current owner bought the car and imported it in 2020. This car was converted to 12v in 2000 and an engine restoration was carried out in 2013.

Exterior
The bodywork looks very good. The two-tone blue and light beige paintwork is in very good condition, with a few imperfections of course, but these are very discreet. The navy blue soft top is in very good condition. The wheels, painted in the same colours as the bodywork, are in very good condition. The chrome is sparkling. The headlights are in very good condition.
Interior
The interior is also in very good condition. The beige leathers are particularly well preserved, taut and with no signs of tearing. The seats still sit well. The woodwork is in very good condition. All the on-board instrumentation is functional. Note that the soft top lining has a tear in the roll bar.
Mechanical
The 6-cylinder engine was rebuilt in 2013 and runs very well, with a well-tuned and reliable engine. This 1930s car already has the DNA of a genuine BMW: a longitudinal in-line cylinder, rear-wheel drive, not to mention the distinctive sound that accompanies it all! The gearbox allows smooth gear changes. Roadholding is sound and consistent. In short, this is a surprisingly modern car that's easy to handle.
