History: This 308 GTB is nicknamed Vetroresina because of its fibreglass body, making it lighter and much more exclusive than a conventional 308 GTB. In fact, 712 examples were produced. The 308 GTB follows in its footsteps, weighing no less than 150 kg because of its steel and aluminium body instead of fibreglass.

The car we are offering for sale is second-hand. It was delivered to its first owner in 1976 in France. The current owner bought it with his brother in 1985 from Ferrari. The car has therefore belonged to the same person for almost 40 years.

Note that the odometer has been changed, so its estimated mileage at the time was 65,000 km.

Condition :
General: The car is sound and in beautiful presentable condition, although not cosmetically perfect. Both inside and out, it has a patina that lends it a certain charm. It was appraised in May 2024 and the expert states that the car is in good working order.

Exterior: The bodywork looks good overall. The car was originally blue and was professionally repainted in the 1990s. Today, it shows signs of age here and there, such as on the left-hand side of the rear bumper, but it still looks good. The rims show some scuff marks, but remain in good condition. The retractable headlights are fully functional.

Interior: The interior is as good as new, especially the beige leather seats, which have a patina and could do with a good cleaning. Otherwise, the brown carpets, dashboard and headlining are in generally good condition. All the on-board instrumentation is functional.

Powertrain: The V8 is quick-starting and works well. It was rebuilt 8 years ago. It's mated to a 5-speed gearbox, none of whose shifts stick. The car's road holding is good.
