History: This 308 GTB is nicknamed ‘Vetroresina’ due to its fibreglass bodywork, making it lighter and significantly more exclusive than a standard 308 GTB. Indeed, only 712 units were produced. The 308 GTB succeeded it, weighing in at no less than 150 kg more due to its steel and aluminium bodywork rather than fibreglass.

The car we are offering for sale is a second-hand example. It was delivered to its first owner in France in 1976. The current owner purchased it with his brother in 1985 from Ferrari. The car has therefore belonged to the same person for nearly 40 years.

Please note that the odometer has been replaced; we therefore estimate its mileage at 65,000 km.

Condition:
General: The car is sound and in good overall condition, although it is not aesthetically perfect. Both inside and out, it has a patina that gives it a certain charm. It was inspected in May 2024 and the inspector confirmed that the car is in good working order.

Exterior: The bodywork is generally in good condition. The car was originally blue and was professionally repainted in the 1990s. Today, it shows signs of age here and there, such as on the left side of the rear bumper, but it still looks good. The alloy wheels show signs of scuffing but remain in good condition. The pop-up headlights are fully functional.

Interior: The cabin is in its original condition, particularly the beige leather seats, which have a worn look and would benefit from a good clean. Otherwise, the brown carpets, dashboard and headlining are generally in good condition. All the on-board instruments are in working order.

Mechanics: The V8 starts instantly and runs well. It was overhauled 8 years ago. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox with no sticking gears. The car handles well on the road.
