History

The Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina is now one of the most sought-after versions of the 308 range, with only a few hundred examples produced featuring a fibreglass body, which is lighter than the steel versions.

This example, chassis #19219, was delivered new in May 1976 by the Garage Mille Miglia dealership in Bolzano, Italy. It has a fine history and has been in France for over 20 years. The car was acquired in 2021 from a renowned French collector. It comes with a Ferrari Classiche certificate and a file of invoices.

This Ferrari is a matching numbers car, with its F106 A02 V8 engine matching the chassis, as well as its original gearbox and differential. Originally delivered in an elegant Blu Dino Metallizzato finish with a beige leather interior, it now features a red livery with a black interior, perfectly in keeping with Ferrari’s DNA.

🚗 The car features a red paintwork in excellent condition, with a beautiful shine and a particularly striking appearance. The bodywork is well-aligned and the overall finish is consistent. The fibreglass bodywork, specific to the Vetroresina versions, is well-preserved.

The interior, upholstered in black leather, is in excellent condition. The seats display a uniform patina with no major deterioration. The dashboard and various upholstery elements are well preserved and show evidence of regular maintenance. It features an iconic three-spoke steering wheel and a full instrument cluster by Veglia Borletti. The headlining is in good condition.

🔧 The V8 engine, original and certified by Ferrari Classiche, runs satisfactorily. It is fitted with Weber 40 DCNF carburettors and a Magneti Marelli ignition system. The gearbox and differential are original, as are the Koni suspension components. The car’s overall running condition is good.
