Jaguar Mark 2 3.8 1961 / Manual

This car was delivered new in June 1961 in the Netherlands. Its current owner bought it in July 2021 from a professional in Belgium.

Condition:

General: This Jaguar is in magnificent condition in every respect. It has undergone a complete mechanical restoration, with many expenses incurred and 400 hours of labor required for the entire job.

Exterior: This car is in superb exterior condition. The bodywork presents very well in its "Champagne Metallic" hue. The car was originally blue. The rims are in near-new condition and the chrome is sparkling. The headlights are clean and bright. The glazing is also clean and all badges are present.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition, and the original Bordeaux red leather upholstery provides comfortable seating. The leathers are perfectly taut. The burr elm wood trim on the dashboard and doors is in excellent condition. The Motolita wooden steering wheel is also in very good condition. The instruments in the driver's cab are clean and functional. The carpets are also in excellent condition.

Mechanical: The engine (which is not the original one) has undergone a complete overhaul. Since then, the car has been driven less than 500 km. The car starts and runs perfectly. It idles, revs and delivers all its power. The gearbox shifts correctly, and there's no creaking or abnormal noise. The hydraulic disc braking system is very good, and roadholding is sound. The stainless steel exhaust system produces a magnificent sound.

Underbody : This car's underpinnings are sound and free from perforating corrosion. Photos are available on request.
