This roadster was manufactured on 30 May 1974 and delivered new to the United States by British Leyland in New York on 10 July 1974. This example retains its original engine (matching numbers). It also retains its original colour, Regency Red. The owner purchased it in March 2022 for €85,000. The car comes with a file of invoices, two valuation reports and its certificate of origin.

This example is in very good condition.
The bodywork is in good condition. The red paintwork is glossy and even, with no visible signs of corrosion. The body panels fit together neatly. The chrome spoked wheels are in good condition, as are the headlights, chrome trim and windows. The black alpaca soft top is in perfect condition.
Inside the cabin, the beige leather upholstery is well preserved. The dashboard and instruments are in good condition and fully functional. The steering wheel is made of wood, as is the gear-lever knob. The car is fitted with a car radio and a battery cut-off switch. The air-conditioning system has previously been removed.
The V12 starts without hesitation, with no smoke or unusual noises. It delivers its 272 ch smoothly. The four-speed manual gearbox is precise and works perfectly. Numerous invoices attest to the care taken in maintaining the car.
The car is fitted with four Vredestein Classic tyres.
The car comes with its original spoked spare wheel, tool kit and jack.
