History
This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 was manufactured on 15 March 1968 and shipped on 8 April of the same year to the Jaguar Cars distributor in New York, USA. Its first registered owner was the company "Docks Root Beer Co.". The vehicle was subsequently imported into France in 2018. The current owner has owned it since January 2022. The car comes with its Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and a file of invoices.

General state
General: The vehicle passed its MOT test in February 2026.
Exterior: The bodywork is dark red with a beige soft top. The paintwork is perfectly smooth and shows no major defects. The chrome on the bumpers and wheel rims is shiny and well-maintained. A removable roof rack is fitted to the boot.
Interior: The interior is fitted with original ‘Light Tan’ leather and is in excellent overall condition. All dashboard components are fully functional. The rev counter has recently been repaired.
Mechanics: The 4.2L matching numbers engine is in good working order. Major engine sealing work (valve covers, breather housing) was carried out in January 2026. The gearbox shifts smoothly and precisely. Road holding is very good.
The running gear has been serviced, including the replacement of the stabiliser bar link bushings and the adjustment of the front bearings.
