History
Launched in 1957, the Jaguar XK 150 was the final evolution in the XK line-up, succeeding the famous XK 120 and XK 140. The OTS (Open Two Seater) version, introduced a little later in 1958, stood out for its pure roadster styling, featuring a minimalist soft top and more elegant lines than the classic convertible.
Technically, it marked a revolution for its time, being one of the first production cars to feature four-wheel disc brakes, a technology inherited from Jaguar’s successes at Le Mans. Under the bonnet, its straight-six engine delivered increased power.
Produced until 1961, the XK 150 OTS perfectly bridged the gap between the classic charm of the 1950s and the modernity of the E-Type that was to succeed it.
Our example is a 3.4 S featuring the gold-painted ‘straight ports’ cylinder head and fitted with three SU HD8 carburettors. Only 888 examples of this version were produced.
This car was first registered in June 1958 in the United States. The current owner purchased it in 2023.

General state
The bodywork is in very good condition and free from corrosion. The alignment and fit are good. The black paintwork is smooth and has a lovely depth. There are some minor signs of wear. The spoked wheels are well preserved. The headlight lenses are in good condition. The chrome trim has a lovely shine. The black soft top is in very good condition.
Inside the cabin, the red leather seats are in very good condition. The dashboard shows no defects. The “Moto-Lita” wooden steering wheel is very well preserved. The instrument panel is fully functional.
The 3.4-litre “XK” six-cylinder engine starts without a hitch and revs freely. The four-speed manual gearbox is fitted with an original overdrive. Gear changes are smooth. The road holding is very good. Structurally, the car is in excellent condition.
