History
Launched in 1957, the Jaguar XK 150 was the latest evolution in the XK line, succeeding the famous XK 120 and XK 140. The OTS (Open Two Seater) version, introduced a little later in 1958, stood out with its pure roadster look, minimalist soft top and more elegant lines than the classic convertible. Technically, it was revolutionary for its time, being one of the first production cars to feature four-wheel disc brakes, a technology inherited from Jaguar's successes at Le Mans. Under the bonnet, its inline six-cylinder engine was more powerful. Produced until 1961, the XK 150 OTS perfectly bridged the gap between the classic charm of the 1950s and the modernity of the E-Type that would succeed it.
Our example is a 3.4 S featuring gold-painted straight ports and equipped with three SU HD8 carburettors. Only 888 examples of this version were produced. This car was first registered in June 1958 in the United States. The current owner purchased it in 2023.

The bodywork is in very good condition and free from corrosion. The alignment and adjustments are good. The black paintwork is smooth and has a beautiful depth. We can note the presence of slight signs of wear. The spoked wheels are well preserved. The headlight lenses are in good condition. The chrome has a beautiful shine. The black soft top is in very good condition.
Inside, the red leather seats are in very good condition. The dashboard has no defects. The wooden "Moto-Lita" steering wheel is very well preserved. The dashboard instruments are functional.
The 3.4-litre XK 6-cylinder engine starts smoothly and revs well. The 4-speed manual gearbox is equipped with an original overdrive. Gear changes are satisfactory. The car handles very well. Structurally, the car is in very good condition.
