History

📄 This Type-E was delivered new in America. It spent most of its life in California. The current owner is a collector of vintage cars, and will buy it in 2021 via a professional importer.

The car has an up-to-date French registration in the name of the current owner.

🚘 The body was repainted in this dark brown in 2023. It came from the factory in beige, so the choice was to redo it in this configuration to show it off better. The bodywork has been done with great care, and the paint thicknesses are uniform and reasonable. There are a few imperfections from use, but the overall appearance of the car is very flattering.

The tan leather interior contrasts elegantly with the brown bodywork. The upholstery is beautiful overall, having been redone in 2022 in its original colour.

🔧Mechanically: The car has benefited from a lot of recent work, including refurbishment of the front axle, brakes and wiring harness. Valve clearances have been adjusted. The oil pump, alternator and starter motor are new. The fuel supply has also been revised (tank, fuel pump, etc). This Type-E is therefore in very good working order and structurally sound.
