History: Rolling off the production line in December 1969, this Jaguar E-Type 4.2 sat in a garage for many years before coming into the hands of its current owner. Having owned it for over 3 years, he has undertaken a major restoration with almost €60,000 worth of bills.

General: After this recent restoration, this car presents itself to you in excellent condition.

Exterior: The Signal Red bodywork was professionally redone in 2022 and is now in excellent condition. The spoked wheels are also in very good condition. The black soft top has recently been replaced. The chrome, from the luggage rack to the headlamp surrounds, is in excellent condition.

Interior: The beige leather interior provides a nice contrast with the exterior. The seats have been restored to a high quality leather. The dashboard is in immaculate condition, with well-preserved instruments and trim. The wooden steering wheel is in superb condition, with no cracks and the varnish intact.

Powertrain: The 4.2-litre, 6-cylinder engine was reworked in 2020 to give it a new lease of life, while remaining true to the original. From the engine to the gearbox, everything was checked and then preserved or changed if necessary. Today it starts with remarkable ease, runs well and delivers the performance expected of it.
