History

🇺🇸 The car rolled off the production line in March 1955 and was delivered to the dealer the following month in Los Angeles.
🇫🇷 It arrived in France in 1990 and was purchased by its current owner in 2000.
📄 Fully restored in 1990 and underwent major mechanical work in the 2000s, including: sandblasting and treatment of the chassis, complete reinforced paintwork with a polished gloss finish, refurbishment of the interior, overhaul and light reboring of the engine, lightweight flywheel, standard gearbox replacement…
We have invoices dating back to its arrival in France and a photo restoration file.

General state

🚘 The bodywork and paintwork are in very good overall condition, with a lovely patina. The soft top, tonneau cover and side screens are in very good condition. The car is also fitted with a hardtop, which has never been fitted, and is in exceptional condition.
The interior is in fine condition.
Dashboard gauges and instruments are in working order.
Various signs of wear can be seen in the ‘Imperfections’ section.

Mechanical state

🔧 In very good mechanical condition; starts without noise or unusual smoke. The car is in excellent condition and very reliable.
The 4-speed MOSS gearbox has been replaced as a standard exchange unit. This car is fitted with brake assist.
Modifications have been made to ensure compliance, including: aluminium radiator, additional electric fan, electronic ignition, alternator replacing the dynamo, front disc brakes, adjustable Koni shock absorbers, and front and rear LED lighting. The original radiator and drum brakes are available.
Undercarriage in good condition.
