This 450 slc is of Japanese origin,it was delivered in 1978;I also have the original warranty certificate in Japanese as well as the service booklet.it was exported to the land of the rising sun in its European version i.e. left hand drive.this car was re-imported to the UK in 1996 after having undergone a facelift in Japan.The true original colour is red and the car has been repainted in Mercedes Anthracite with new 16 inch PENTA rims giving the car a very pleasing combination.the car finally became French in April 2021 with its collector's registration.

This car is in very good condition.
Exterior
There are virtually no faults on the bodywork, maybe 2 blisters around the rear window but nothing too serious, and the chrome is also in very good condition.
Interior
The interior is completely red, the seats, dashboard, door panels, carpets, except for the white/beige headlining which is in perfect condition. Overall the leather seats have aged very well and have a nice patina.
Mechanical
This car has only 94000kms from new, the figures are perfectly aligned on the tachometer, the torque it offers under acceleration and a certificate from Mercedes attests to this low mileage. 10,000 kms since I bought it in 2021, it starts and drives perfectly.
