History

This rare Triumph TR5 was delivered new in France in March 1968. The rarest model of the TR series, the TR5 Pi is a powerful and pleasant car to drive. Our example features its original hard-top and surrey-top as well as an extensive file documenting a known history.

The car's history is clear, and we still have the original purchase invoice from the time, along with some old receipts.

The current owner has had it for over 10 years and had the car restored by a specialist of the model. Everything was done seriously:
- New paint
- New upholstery
- New 72-spoke wire wheels
- New woodwork
- New complete axle and transmission
- Overdrive overhauled
- Running gear overhauled
- New consumables

TR5s are rare and sought after, and French originals in such a state of presentation even more so! It is important to note that this car is sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty and has been recently appraised.
