History
It was in 1968 that this Camaro reached its first owner in California. But this is no ordinary Camaro; it is an original Camaro SS (Super Sport) equipped with the 396ci Big Block and the RS (Rally Sport) Pack, making it a true rarity on the market.
The car has benefited from a complete restoration that began in the United States with its previous owner a few years ago. When it arrived in France in 2018, the current owner carried out €25,000 of work to improve the car and make it more reliable. It should be noted that he has all the American and French invoices.

States
General state
This Camaro has been professionally restored and is now in excellent condition. Aesthetically, it is close to new condition, and mechanically, the car is perfectly sound. An expert report carried out in January 2024 certifies the car's very good general condition.
External state
The RS Pack includes front and rear spoilers, a black radiator grille with electric headlamp covers, exclusive interior parts, modified rear lights and 4-leaf suspension. This pack gives the car a much sportier look. Originally green, the car was repainted black in 2016 in the United States. The bodywork is in excellent condition, as are the headlights, wheels and chrome.
Interior state
The cabin is beyond reproach. The 'luxury' half-skaï half-houndstooth upholstery looks like new, as do the dashboard and centre console, which feature wood trim. The steering wheel, also in wood, looks very good. All the gauges, instruments and on-board equipment are functional.
Mechanical state
The 396ci has a raucous, throaty sound, thanks in part to the addition of an electronic ignition system, and starts off perfectly well. The engine's displacement makes it very torquey, and it's at ease at any engine speed. Mechanical gearboxes are very rare on this model, as automatic gearboxes are the norm in the United States. Driving pleasure is enhanced tenfold by the smooth, well-guided gear changes.
At the time of sale, the owner sold 4 14-inch rims fitted with oval tyres from the car's arrival from the United States.
Underbody: The car's underpinnings are sound and free of corrosion. An anti-gravelling system has been fitted by a coachbuilder. Photos are available on request.

Passionate about cars since childhood, Robinson loved visiting dealers to chat and admire supercars in their showrooms. At a very young age, he discovered driving on his father's knees, behind the wheel of the family 4x4 during weekend off-road outings. Once he obtained his license, he fully embraced his passion by buying, driving, and later selling models such as the Porsche 944, the 987.2 Cayman, and the 996 Carrera 4S. Attracted by CarJager's international and digital approach, he joined the team in 2022 after a few years of experience in sales. His favorite playground remains sports cars from the 1990s to 2015, and he keeps a soft spot for icons like the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Porsche 997 GT3 RS, Aston Martin DBS… or even a beautiful Defender!
