This Corvette C3 was restored from the bare chassis in 2008 by its last American owner. He invested more than $60,000 in work before entering it in show car competitions, some of which it won, according to period photos. He sold it in 2012 to finance his son's education. It then arrived in Europe. The current owner has owned it since 2018. He is selling it to pursue a new automotive project. He has undertaken detailed research in the records to determine that it is "matching numbers & colour".

The bodywork is in very good condition, and the shell was dismantled during restoration. Apart from a few very minor imperfections due to normal wear and tear, this Corvette is in remarkable aesthetic condition. The interior is original and well preserved overall. The wood inserts add a nice finishing touch. The removable roof is watertight.
The original engine was optimised during restoration (carburetion/camshaft/cooling/electronic ignition). The aim was to unleash the potential of this V8, which was slightly restricted in 1973 due to the anti-pollution standards of the time. On the test bench, the previous owner measured a power output of 540 horsepower. The engine has done 5,000 km since its restoration. The last service was in the summer of 2025. The brakes have been optimised, with ceramic discs on all four wheels and a mastervac booster to ensure significantly more effective braking than the original. Structurally, the car is in very good condition.
