This car, originally delivered new in the USA, was registered in France in 2013 following a full restoration carried out in its country of origin by a specialist in the model in 2012.

In excellent condition both visually and mechanically, this C1 Corvette far exceeds the standard one would expect for a vehicle that rolled off the production line in 1958.
The bright red, immaculate and original interior complements a rare black body with grey side panels (only 400 were made), which is also flawless. A discreet modern car radio, with a period look, has been fitted.
Feeding off a large four-barrel carburettor and mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, its 283ci (4.6L) small-block V8 delivers 270 horsepower with a characteristic purr. The running gear and road holding are considered sound, with no vibrations or unwanted noise.
🛞 4 whitewall tyres, size 6.70 x 15, in line with the original specification (option 290B mentioned on the original invoice).
